Frozen avocados can be stored for 3?6 months to reduce waste, best used in smoothies, dips, or mashed, as the texture becomes too soft for salads. For best results, freeze ripe avocados halved, sliced, or mashed with lemon/lime juice to prevent browning. They are commonly sold as IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) pieces.
