Fresh Tempeh

Fresh tempeh is a traditional Indonesian fermented food, recognized as a dense, firm cake made from soybeans bound together by a white mold called Rhizopus oligosporus. Unlike pasteurized, store-bought versions, fresh tempeh has a nutty, mushroom-like aroma and a clean, earthy flavor.
