Longan

Longan (Dimocarpus longan) is a small, tropical, edible fruit native to Asia, related to lychee and rambutan. Known for its thin, brown, leathery shell and translucent white flesh, it has a sweet, musky flavor. It grows on evergreen trees up to 100 feet tall and is frequently eaten fresh, dried, or canned in syrup.
